Harley-Davidson Insurance makes sure you're getting the correct coverage.
Your Harley-Davidson® or Buell® motorcycle is unique. And it requires careful attention regarding its insurance. We work only with insurance carriers that are properly set up to insure you and your Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

25-POINT SAFETY INSPECTION
All pre-owned motorcycles at Harley-Davidson of Seattle, whether taken in trade or purchased directly, undergo a rigorous 25-point safety inspection by one of our certified Harley-Davidson technicians. This is why we offer a 30-day Lynnwood H-D Warranty on most of our pre-owned bikes!*
*Some restrictions apply. Some newer pre-owned bikes have the balance of the factory warranty, which supercedes the Lynnwood H-D 30-day warranty. Please call or stop in for details.
GAP: GUARANTEED ASSET PROTECTION
You can't predict a theft or an accident. But with the Harley-Davidson® Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Plan, you can be prepared should one occur.
In many cases, Harley-Davidson® motorcycle owners assume their primary cycle insurance coverage will be enough to cover any loss related to their bike. In reality, the actual cash value placed on your motorcycle by the insurance company may be substantially less than the outstanding balance on your loan contract. Can you afford to use money from your own pocket to pay the difference, plus cover your insurance deductible? And what about the cost of buying a new motorcycle?
Harley-Davidson® GAP provides the following benefits:
- Pays 100% of the difference between your loan balance* and what your insurance company will pay for your motorcycle (in the event of theft or total loss)
- Reimburse up to $1000 of your insurance deductible
- Provide $1000 towards your down payment on the purchase of a new Harley-Davidson® or Buell® motorcycle at Harley-Davidson of Seattle (no time limit!)
*GAP does not cover items which are not permanently attached to the motorcycle. This would include jackets, gloves, helmets, etc. Please call or stop in for details.
Extended Service Contracts
Your Harley-Davidson® or Buell® motorcycle is one mean riding machine. But even that won't keep you from having a mishap on the road from time to time. That's why you need the Harley-Davidson® Extended Service Plan (ESP) - the only H-DTM factory-approved extended service plan. It gives you protection that you just can't find anywhere else, with low, locked-in repair costs and assurance that all repairs will be performed by a Harley-Davidson® dealership using Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts. You can even transfer your contract free if you ever sell your bike, increasing its total resale value.

CREDIT LIFE AND DISABILITY
Life sometimes takes unexpected turns. At Harley-Davidson of Seattle, we offer Credit Life and Disability coverage which provides:
- Long term payment coverage when you are under the care of a doctor
- Loan balance payoff in the event of your death, making the motorcycle an asset to your estate
DEBT PROTECTION
Harley-Davidson® Financial Services offers Debt Protection for your Harley-Davidson® or Buell® motorcycle. This provides payment cancellation when under the care of a doctor, or unemployed (interest will continue to accrue). This program also protects you in case of death.
